Welkom bij Wudang-principles NL school voor internal martial arts.
De school is onderdeel van de internationale WDP(Wudang Principles)school opgericht door Ismet Himmet.
Hier staan de 10 ancestral principes centraal volgens de oude traditionele Taoistische filosofie in de Xuan Wu pai traditie. Xuan Wu Pai is een onderdeel van de Wudang Pai(school) die zijn wortels in heeft in het Taoisme vanuit het heilige Wudang gebergte in China.

Bij ons kan je terecht voor Wudang Taiji, Bagua, Spiralflow en Qigong.
In de les krijg je bewegingsoefeningen waar de principes centraal staan om

– prachtige vloeiende gedetailleerde Wudang vormen leren
– je structuur te versterken
– een meer gecoordineerde balans te krijgen
– een meer ontspannen houding en daardoor een gezonder lichaam en geest
– een betere concentratie door met je intentie te werken
– het Yin Yang principe te begrijpen door te voelen
– meer bewustzijn te krijgen over jezelf

The course will last 10 weeks and covers the basics of Wudang quan martial arts.

The Wudang internal martial arts as taught by Teacher Ismet Himmet helps to unite the mind and body and allow them to be one.

Howdy dedicates his life to realizing Self-knowledge through the body by sharing this knowledge with others. Combining ancient and modern knowledge of movement, these teachings are and should be applicable to every aspect of Life.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The Tuesday class will be focussing on Bufagong (stepwork with detailed slow movement), as well as Wudang Five Animal Qigong – one of the most important exercises practiced by Wudang Taoists.

The Thursday class will be grounded in Baguazhang, which is one of the three main Chinese martial arts of the Wudang school. Circle walking will form the foundation, and all movements in this style is derived from spirals and circles.

You will learn:
– How to be in sync and flow with whole structured body awareness.
– Basics like grounding, weight shifting, breathing, intention, flow and the energies.
The exercises will help you to understand and structure your own forms in movement.
This will also help give your forms more fullness and enhance your understanding of energies.

Every level is welcome to join.

Thursday 19.00 — 21.00: Bagua Zhang (八卦掌)
Location: 2e oosterparkstraat 33 in the gym of Metis Montessori Lyceum.

Sunday 10.00 — 12.00: BASICS. Hui Chun Qigong, Tuishou (pushing hands), Bufa Gong.
Location: In Oosterpark next to Muziekkoepel Oosterpark.
